Investment Proposal

“KIK ENERGY – 1” Ltd. has the following investment proposal:
Installation of an electrical energy storage facility with an installed power of 0.2 MW and a capacity of 0.466 MWh to a Photovoltaic power plant with an installed power of 0.3996 MWp and a maximum inverter AC power of 0.4 MW in PI with identifier 32576.33.48, UPI I-048 , m. 33, “Bey Bair” street, h-shte s. Izgrev, Elhovo municipality, Yambol region.

Characteristics of the investment proposal:

1. Summary of the proposal:
The subject of the investment intention is the implementation of a combined project consisting of the installation of a local electrical energy storage facility at a photovoltaic power plant – FTPP with an installed capacity of 0.3996 MWp and a maximum inverter AC capacity of 0.4 MW in PI with identifier 32576.33.48 , UPI I-048, m. 33, “Bey Bair” street, h-shte s. Izgrev, Elhovo municipality, Yambol region” and AC cables for connection to an existing substation of the FTPP, according to the conditions for application under procedure BG-RRP-4.032 “Support of new capacities for the production of electricity from renewable sources and storage of electricity with an installed capacity of 200 kW to 2 MW” to the National Plan for Recovery and Sustainability of the Republic of Bulgaria, Component “Low Carbon Economy”
According to Art. 61c. (New – SG No. 11 of 2023) of the Energy Act “Electricity storage facility” is a facility within the power system in which energy is stored, with the exception of energy storage facilities for own consumption to producers or end customers, which does not transfer the stored electrical energy to the power transmission or distribution network of the Spatial Planning Act.

2. Description of the main processes:
Installation of LSS with the following characteristics is planned:
– Maximum AC power of LCC – P/AC = 0.2 MW
– LSS capacity – C = 0.466 MWh
– Battery DC voltage level – V/DC = 832V
– Level of AC voltage of connection to GRT – FTEC – V/AC = 400V, 3P+N+PE
– Power equal to 50% of the installed power of the production component of the Photovoltaic power plant;
– Mode of operation of LSS – charging at least 75% of the electrical energy produced by the Photovoltaic Power Plant on an annual basis;
– LSS have a guaranteed (useful) capacity for a duration of at least 2 hours
the guaranteed capacity of LCC = 0.466 MWh
maximum charge/discharge power = 0.2 MW
C-Rate = 2.33 h
– Area on which the LSS will be installed – 8.55 sq.m.
The LCC consists of two TIANWU AIO-L 100/233B modules connected in parallel, each with the following characteristics:
– Manufacturer – Jiangsu Weiheng Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., LuosheTown, HuishanDistrict, Wuxi, China
– Capacity – C = 0.233 MWh
– Cell type of battery cells – LFP (from CATL) cell 3.2V 280Ah
